Evaluation Overview / Process
WRIEN was a network designed to connect employers, needing skilled and professional talent with Internationally Trained Individuals through its service provider partners. It has incorporated an ongoing evaluation strategy into its operation. The Centre for Community Based Research (CCBR) was contracted to conduct the WRIEN evaluation.
The WRIEN evaluation was carried out over the initial three year mandate of the network. The evaluation strategy focused on network outcomes, including an assessment of how WRIEN strengthened immigrant lives, the local economy and the community-at-large. The evaluation also focused on network processes, with ongoing data collection and feedback designed to help shape and improve the effectiveness of WRIEN.
