Employer Visitation Program
One-on-one meetings with employers on-site to gain real-time feedback from employers on barriers and potential solutions to support their workforce needs, including specific future skills needs.
Partnership staff are interested to determine:
How do we best help employers?
How do we engage employers?
What are the gaps/overlaps in employers related service delivery in this community?
Employer Workshops and Seminars

During such events success stories of immigrant integration into the Waterloo Region will be shared; and immigrants and employers will be able to discuss employment opportunities in a one-to-one non interview type environment.
WRIEN Business Excellence Award 2011
An annual forum (Annual Best Practices Forum) focused on human resource best practices that create win-win outcomes for employers and new comers to Waterloo Region was held in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
WRIEN Committee members decided to join the Gala Business Excellence Award event hosted by the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce instead of delivering its Annual Forum to celebrate best practices. A WRIEN Award was created and the 2011 Award went to Redragon.
